EXCITING TIMES - galleries open again after the pandemic !!!

I am thrilled to say that after nearly two years of caution and isolation our galleries are open again, although Covid protocols are still in place for most. It's summer. People are out on the streets enjoying the sunshine, and what better time to stop by our favorite galleries to see what artists have been up to over the past year, and more.

The pandemic was a time of solitude for me. My studio had pretty tight protocols. No visitors at first, and masks in public areas. It's still much like that. Visitors can now attend by appointment, but artists and their guests must wear masks, even in the studios. I'm fine with that.

I'm looking forward to the Vancouver Eastside Culture Crawl, which runs over two weekends in November this year - November 12 to 14 and November 18 to 21, 2021. By November we may be under a new set of restrictions. The plan is to open studios by appointment for private visits during the first weekend, and open to the public during the second weekend. If you'd like a studio visit, please go to the website and sign up. I don't think my studio will be open to the public on the second weekend. https://culturecrawl.ca/

Below are some images from my exhibition, Growth Cycles, which runs to August 29, 2021 at the Britannia Art Gallery, 1661 Napier Street, just off Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC.
